Era realizar un\u00a0proyecto piloto de nuestro programa Rato Baltin, en aquella zona.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestra representante en esa zona, Clara Garcia i Ort\u00e9s, acudi\u00f3 en enero de 2020, y pudimos ver\u00a0que en la zona la situaci\u00f3n no era diferente que en Achham. Se trataba de discriminaci\u00f3n sexual.\u00a0Muchos hombres explicaban que ellos no las hac\u00edan practicar chhaupadi. En realidad, s\u00ed que las\u00a0mujeres y ni\u00f1as dorm\u00edan en las casas, pero las mujeres dorm\u00edan en camas separadas, los hombres no\u00a0com\u00edan lo que ellas cocinaban, no pod\u00edan tocar las mismas fuentes de agua, cosas en definitiva que\u00a0eran pr\u00e1cticas de chhaupadi. As\u00ed que la \u00fanica diferencia que hab\u00eda entre la discriminaci\u00f3n menstrual\u00a0en distrito y otras zonas como las que trabajamos en Achham, es que la mujer\u00a0duerme dentro de la casa.<\/p>\n<p>Se decidi\u00f3 hacer una prueba piloto, que condujeron Rupa Pandey, Simran y Raunika, implicando solo trabajadoras sociales, profesoras, y una\u00a0peque\u00f1a representaci\u00f3n de cada escuela. Esto es lo que pudimos hacer, <em>be artsy<\/em> no se implicar\u00e1 en\u00a0este programa, a no ser que el socio CODEC aporte los recursos necesarios, porqu\u00e9 nuestros\u00a0esfuerzos se centran en la provincia del far-west de Nepal.
